Simply Southern Sitters, LLC is a local Babysitting Agency in Charleston, SC. We provide occasional sitters for local families, vacation families, special events and weddings.

We understand that you want to offer only the best services to your clients.  Simply Southern Sitters strives to go above and beyond with each and every placement!

All of our sitters are over 21 with at least 3 years of experience.  They have CPR training with reliable transportation and we extensively screen and conduct personal face to face interviews with each of our candidates.

Our goal is to make finding the perfect provider stress-free by offering pre-screened, knowledgeable and trustworthy candidates. Our responsive placement team saves you time & worry!

Nanny Rates

Full Time Nanny / $600 (Annually)

Part Time Nanny / $500 (Annually)

Summer Time Nanny / $300 (Seasonally)

  Once a candidate is selected, an agreement is drafted.
  A meeting will be scheduled with Simply Southern Sitters, The Family and the Nanny/Sitter to sign the agreement.

  During this consultation we will be gathering pertinent information:​
  A brief application will be sent to you along with a Welcome Packet (Including more details)
  The Averages pay range is between $13 - $16/hr.

  $50 Annual Membership Fee is paid to start the process & $100 deposit to the agency (non- refundable). This is to cover administrative fees

We aim to match each family to the perfect childcare professional. When you can’t be with your kids, we’ll find a local sitter to provide the highest level of care possible. You can rest assured that any sitter you select from our site is trustworthy, caring, and experienced. To get started, simply email us the criteria for your ideal sitter, along with your schedule and any other needs and we’ll handle the rest!

Important Info to Remember

• There is a 3.5 hour minimum for all bookings.
• If you have placed a request for a specific sitter we cannot guarantee their availability. However, we will do our very best!
• Hard to fill locations ( ex Summerville, Moncks Corner, Kiawah) require a one hour travel fee paid to the sitter to compensate for gas (fee equal to one hour of babysitting)
• Wild Dunes require a 1/2 hour travel fee paid to the sitter to compensate for gas (fee equal to 1/2 hour of babysitting)
• Agency placement fee is non-refundable

We make it easy to find the perfect babysitter for your family. Before we hire a babysitter we:

• Perform a full background check
• Require at least three positive references
• Ensure that each sitter has at least three years of experience

If you are headed out of town & are in need of a reliable, trustworthy person to care for your pet(s) and/or home while away, Simply Southern Sitters can help! All of our pet & house sitters are extensively screened (SLED check, Sex Offender’s Registry Check, Driver’s License Check & personal references) and are 21+.
